Online sessions during COVID19

Dear all,

First and most importantly, we you and your loved ones are doing well in this uncharted time. With this message, we would like to give you an update about our design interventions in 2020. As you might already know, the main goal of this research project is to develop a collaboration platform for responsible smart cities. The development of this collaboration platform is informed by interactive sessions with the quadruple helix stakeholders (citizens, public sector, companies and research institutes). During last months, we have been working hard on preparing a planning for 2020 with sessions and workshops around the following questions:

* What might a “responsible smart city” mean and how might civic participation be stimulated in order to achieve such a vision?

* What may be some of the ethical implications of technology on society in a responsible smart city?

* What kinds of approaches and tools might enable us to collectively make responsible smart city futures?

The COVID-19 crisis has had an impact on our planning and we have been working on online/virtual approaches to make sure we can continue our activities during these months.

To stay up to date, please check our online community https://r-cityhub.hotglue.me/ where we will announce our upcoming sessions and activities.

We are looking forward to seeing you again face to face or virtually in the upcoming months.

We will keep you posted!
