What is the ‘anatomy’ of a controversy? Can we use controversies to come up with new ideas while engaging in a deeper reflection on what is going on around us? Last August, Julieta Matos Castaño, Deger Ozkaramanli, Anouk Geenen, and Mascha van der Voort, from the University of Twente, organized a workshop to reflect on these questions at the Design Research Society 2020 conference.
