DesignLab’s 2023 seed fund awarded

Our colleagues Corelia Baibarac-Duignan and Julieta Matos-Castano have received the Designlab’s seed fund to develop a DIY digital tool to ‘facilitate the use of value frictions as a source of inspiration to jointly envision and shape alternative urban futures’.

Their main goal is to ‘engage communities in bringing their ‘smart’ city contexts and potential value frictions to life through the co-creation of an open-source DIY scenario-making tool. The objective is to facilitate the use of value frictions as a source of inspiration to jointly envision and shape alternative urban futures’.

They plan to have a prototype of the tool in September 2023. Stay tuned!
